Pack 61 is chartered by the Brandon '86 Rotary Club.  Our monthly Pack meetings are held from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on the 1st Thursday of the month at St. Andrews Church.

2010 - PACK 61 Popcorn Program Why we sell popcorn?

- Builds self confidence, teaches scouts to earn their own way.

- It is our only Fundraiser and it pays for our activities.  Pack commission is 42% of sales

- Funds Cub Scout camps and activities Flaming Arrow, Brorein and McGreggor Smith

■        Parents must be involved to be successful!  Must accompany Scouts for higher sales/less rejection

 

■        Booth Sales - Allows scouts who won't go door to door a way to sell and contribute

 

■        Den / Pack Popcorn Blitz - organized door to door sale with leaders present

 

■        Track popcorn sales in PackMaster

 

■        Den Kernels deposit money each week and provide deposit slips to Dave Fuson with break out for each scout

■        Make checks payable to BSA Pack 61 - No Personal checks over $100 accepted



Do's and Don'ts:

  1. Do wear your full scout uniform when selling.
  2. Don't wear your scout t-shirt.
  3. Do walk with a parent to the door.
  4. Don't walk alone.
  5. Do share your neighborhood if there is more than one scout from your Pack living in the same neighborhood.
  6. Don't leave another scout without an opportunity to sell in the neighborhood. Walk as a team.
  7. Do give them the receipt letting them know when they will be receiving their order.
  8. Don't forget to say "Thank You"
  9. Do collect the money with checks made payable to Pack 61.
  10. Don't leave without collecting the money.
  11. Do ask all your friends and family to place an order. You will be able to do on-line orders by the 8th of September.
  12. Do ask everyone you know if they will place an order.
  13. Don't forget to ask your local bank if they will sponsor your scout.
  14. Do have a great time!
